Open the floodgates!

So, because we haven't been blogging for a long time, I just had to throw in a few more pictures of Gabriel. He is growing so fast! Slow down and let me savour every second! Soon he'll be able to crawl, then nursery, mission, marriage and he's gone!




Little Gabriel at age 6 months. Here we are enjoying a luncbreak at the library. Gabriel likes to have a little snack and have his toes freed from tight socks, so I guess having both at the same time, is heaven!














His 1st Fastelavn!
Fastelavn is a danish tradition, where children dress up as anything and go to a Fastelavn-party were there are games, fun and a danish version of piñata. Here's Gabriel dressed up as a little cow. From all that milk he drinks throughout the day, it was the perfect costume;)















Jack in the Box
At this stage, Gabriel couldn't sit by himself, and during dinnertime he was irritated not being able to see us properly laying on his tummy. So his play-puzzles came in handy that evening;) A kravlegård for families living in small spaces! All ya'll danish folk know what I mean!

Gabriel is a toss and turn kinda baby, but we had nooo idea just how much, till one night we came in to check on him. We had to run out of the room with a hand to our mouth to stop us from hauling with laughter! Of course we went back to push his little leg back in, and adjust everything...but not after we took a picture first. Forget Junior beds, in this family we go from crib to queens size!












So I have this book about playing certain games at certain ages to stimulate skills and senses. I bought these balls which are supposed to calm him and relax him by feeling all those massaging sensations. The first few tries, he didn't like disapearing into the balls that swalowed him like quicksand. But after a couple of times he just let himself dip into baby-wellness. Maybe momma should try!
